Fairy floss:  

Flossy only hires commercial fairy floss machines which are $180  (includes 500 sticks and the floss sugar to make 500 sticks).  The RRP price for a stick of fairy floss starts at $3. You need two people to man the machine, one to take money and one to spin the floss.  It is a good idea to train several people for this machine (which can be a hard task to find the volunteers) to share the load and fun.

Flossy’s can also provide you with pre-packaged fairy floss which avoids the hassle of rosters and scrambling for volunteers to spin the floss.  If you would like our current prices you will need to email us for this information.  For us to supply you with the prices you need to include in your email the name of your school and the school address so that we can return your email with current prices. The RRP for a 30g bag of floss is $2.  The RRP for a 70g bag of floss is $3.50.

Snowcones:  

Flossy also hirers out snow cone ice-shaving machines. Our shavers are high output machines and the hire price is $180 which includes 400 snowcones, 400 spoon straws and 3 of the 4 litre bottles of syrup (six flavours available).  RRP for a snow cone starts at $2.50.

The benefits of a snow cone ice shaver compared to a slushy machine are many.

• You are not limited to one or two flavours; you can make up any creation you want.
• Ice shavers will keep on shaving ice for hours so this maximises your profits.  (Slushy machines need to be topped up regularly and recover back to frozen).
• Snow cone shavers are portable and won’t break the back when moving them around.
• Snow cone machines use very little electricity compared with slushy refrigeration systems.
• Final and most important fact – Kids love watching you make the snowcones they find it fascinating!

Popcorn:  

The hire price for a popcorn machine is $135 which includes your first 100 bag serves of popcorn.
You can purchase extra serves by the 100s ($25 per 100).  RRP per bag is $2.50.
Or you can purchase the boxes instead and the RRP for a box of popcorn is $3.
You can either hire a popcorn machine where you pop the corn on the spot, or you can hire a popcorn warming cabinet which you tip pre-made popcorn into in the warming cabinet which freshens the popcorn up again. (You purchase the pre-made popcorn off us).
You must man a popcorn machine, but a popcorn warmer you can be busy doing other things at the same time.  A popcorn machine cooks fresh popcorn and the kids love seeing the popcorn spilling out over the kettle with the popcorn smell filling the air and giving the fete that great carnival smell.  A popcorn warming cabinet will also give off a popcorn smell and like I said earlier, it is easier and you get to multi task.
