Switch the power on at the wall and turn on the steamer by flicking power switch up. Now turn the dial to high.
Replace all the partitions and baskets.
Place your hot dogs on the side with holes in baffle which is positioned over the drip tray.
Replace the lids and let cook (30 mins approx when water is steaming)
Add hot or boiling water regularly to maintain water level (but do not overfill).
Once the hot dogs are fully cooked, lower the temperature setting to prevent overcooking. (Temp of hot dogs 70oC (158oF)).
Cleaning:
Unplug the unit’s power cord from the wall.
Remove any remaining hot dogs or buns.
Drain the water from the drain pipe by unscrewing the cap. WARNING – Water will be hot!!!
Remove the wire baskets, partition, baffles and the juice in the tray and clean the entire unit by using a small amount of mild dishwashing detergent with water and cloth to clean the steamer parts and steamer interior. Thoroughly rinse the parts and interior after washing and dry with towelling paper. (Don’t forget to replace the cap on the drain pipe when finished).
